Resource Depot is seeking Teaching Artists for our after school program through Prime Time of Palm Beach County. Responsibilities include:

  1. Collaborates with classroom teachers and teaching artists to design lessons and ensure the integrity of arts integration programs  
  2. Provides input and support to principals and teachers relative to arts integration curriculum and instructional methodology.  
  3. Works with academic services to prepare and implement curriculum materials and resources for varying grade levels.  
  4. Participates in evaluation and selection of materials and equipment appropriate to teaching of assigned curriculum in the schools.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Under supervision of the Director of Programming, the Manager of In-House Programs will oversee and coordinate all In-House programs at the Center for Creative Education. The Manager will fully implement existing programs (specifically the Discover Series LOT 23 Community Artist Program) and will be responsible for developing, promoting, registering, implementing, managing, and evaluating new classes and programs at CCE. This position requires clear and frequent communication with the Directors of Fiscal Management, Facilities & Operations, and Marketing & Communications.

  • Assure student safety concerning all in-house programs
  • Recruit, select, and schedule appropriate instructors
  • Arrange and align instructor training with programming goals
  • Ensure that instructors have the tools, space, supplies and equipment needed
  • Provide feedback to ensure high-quality, appropriate educational standards are being met
  • Schedule partners, and cultural organizations and their tasks
  • Develop and maintain registration material, recruit new students, provide program descriptions for grant requests and online materials/website
  • Assist in developing volunteer base and coordinate room assignment, schedule, and set-up
  • Communicate to the Director of Programming and/or relevant funders: project status, issues, problems, changes and progress
  • Complete projects on time and within budget constraints while monitoring expenses
